Reagan: 44 states
489 Electoral votes.

Carter: 6 states and Dist. of Columbia
49 Electoral votes.

[God luvs America]

1980- out of sight inflation, terrible economy, out of sight gas/oil prices, blue cities falling into disrepair.

Yet in the months and weeks leading up to the election the media claimed it was “too close to call.”
