Look at post # 71 for a fine example of what is becoming the typical dismal of FR discourse.
But step back and look at the whole picture here. Opposing arguments like that reply actually help the community as an organization in whole. When we all start agreeing about everything is when we will indeed attract even more attention as a real threat they need to deal with. The last thing they want is complete organized agreement against their narrative.
But even as it is the FR is a real threat for two reasons. It really is still the number one conservative forum on the net. And because it is privately owned it is much harder to just cancel in whole if they like. They would have to pull out all the stops to do so and it would be extremely obvious.
In fact I would not doubt that before they did this they would approach the domain owners and offer them a subsidy to keep it up and help them gather data. It would be worth more to them up and going as a data mine than it would be if shut down.
But in the meantime they can go after members one at a time. And it will not be very long before we start hearing these accounts here personally.
