Here is the thing... Yesterday the legal commentators on court TV were making the point that if Jones had showed up for his first trial concerning guilt and/or liability he would have actually won the whole case hands down based on the 1st amendment.
But because he did not show, like all cases like this it is an automatic ruling against you for not appearing to court. Just like debt, if you don’t show up the debtor wins the case against you by default because you made no effort to defend yourself against that debt.
So this boils down to Jones actually not being liable, but because he didn’t show for the first court appearance it was handed to the accusers by default whether he was guilty or not. Either Jones or his lawyers made a bad call by not appearing.
That’s interesting. Too bad the MSM is focusing on the Sandy Hook event as the issue, instead of the issue-issue, i.e., him being a no-show.
