If I searched for current crime stories a few months

Oddly* enough, YouTube bombards me with crime stories from around the country. A search for your crime story on YT might provide better results than Google. A search for local news sources are best.

* I do not log in to YouTube, I can’t subscribe , follow or comment but they provide plenty of the content I look for.

Google and Youtube use the same basic algorithm. Search for one subject will get you more results on the same subject most likely more radical. Google/youtube are marketing engines first, gotta sell those ads.

Wise post. Good suggestions.

Side note: About five years ago I wanted to reference a story about American soldiers mistreated in the Vietnam War. All the searches ended with only alleged harm done TO any Vietnamese in battles and encounters. Absurd. Wouldn’t even allow Hanoi Hilton type proven historically accurate stories. Bad.
