Well, considering what President Trump was up against, I think he accomplished an amazing amount of good. I couldn’t imagine wading into the brood of vipers he had to deal with. Even many of those who portrayed themselves as friends, were cutthroats. I don’t blame him for not knowing exactly who is friend and who is foe - so difficult when you HAVE to work with so many, and so many are swamp dwellers, Pence being the worst.
Having said that, so many of the base feel so loyal to President Trump for what he has endured, that they would resent the hell out of DeSantis for doing this when he’s young enough to wait, perhaps serve as VP, and then run as a hero, with 4 years working with Trump, and a shoe-in.
You know honestly when I look back at trump’s first two years, he did some good things. But he wasn’t able to get 100% republican Congress support. As horrible as Biden is, he seems to be able to get everything he wants out of this Congress. Why is that? Why was Trump unable to get all the things he wanted to done but Biden can? In the last two years, what did Trump accomplish?
