Trump’s VP, like Reagan’s Bush, will very likely be the next President of the US after Trump is done.
That is not a “worthless” position from which to launch.
That is why Trump’s VP choice is so very important. I knew Pence was wrong from the get-go. I love Trump but sometimes in choosing government personnel (vs. business personnel - big difference) he has difficulty distinguishing the good, from the bad, from the ugly.
Anyway his VP for 2024 is a very big deal.
I fully agree, especially considering the fact that Trump will only get another 4 year span rather than an uninterrupted 8. The VP absolutely has to 1000% MAGA ongoing. We need 12 straight years of MAGA without liberal interruptions paying us back with KADA (Keep America Down Again) which is destruction back on schedule plus interest.
I think the RNC told Trump they’d only throw their support behind him if he picked someone “sensible” (AKA Deep State) as his VP to keep him in line. Pretty sure Pence was on the short list.
I think it is far more common for sitting VP's to fail than to succeed when running for President
