DESPERATE Russians are frantically attempting to flee the country to avoid being catapulted to the frontline amid Putin's call up.
Huge queues have built at the borders with Finland, Georgia and Mongolia as tens of thousands try to escape being sent into the tyrant’s “meatgrinder”.
Protest erupted in 38 cities after Putin announced a partial mobilisation in a TV address to bolster crumbling efforts in Ukraine.
But they have been met with baton-wielding cops, with at least 1,386 people arrested.
As the fear of conscription ripples through Russia, some men have been hauled out of bed in the middle of the night and told they had four hours to pack their belongings and obey the mobilisation order.
There were reports of people cowering behind doors and refusing to accept the military summonses.
In Luchegorsk, men who refused to open doors at night were handed the summonses when they arrived at work this morning.
Some 60 men were taken to Bikin, in Khabarovsk region, and sent into the hands of the Russian military machine.
Footage showed Russians enlisted by Putin's mobilisation being taken to training camps.
One man made a last-ditch attempt to escape the enlistment office in Blagoveshchensk by leaping out of a first-floor window.
Police are still searching for him.
Orders have been issued stating all men in the two million-strong pool of reserves are banned from leaving their region.

Ivans have nothing tangible to fight for...unlike 1941 to 45.
The Daily Smell and other assorted Liz Truss propaganda rags...
It is not hard to believe that men now subject to mobilization/conscription and their families are not particularly thrilled over the prospect of being sent to Ukraine. Large flight to nearby borders I can buy. Asking wives/girlfriends to break their arms or legs seems to be a bit over the top.
Disinformation.
“What next? The “ Zelensky Youth”?”
Probably. Countries defending themselves from invaders bent on conquest generally are willing to fight to the last man.
Russia might need 300,000 just to put down the rebellion starting in Russia.
Very important, keep in mind 300,000 reservists will be called up - roughly 1% of the mobilisation resource available. 1 percent, and all called up will have prior military service, no 60 year olds or woman. Much like our Gulf Wars using huge amounts of Reservists and National Guard.
Vlad still holds all the cards, he is merely tightening the screws. The West will know when he takes his gloves off. The Ukies have very, very limited resources, whereas Vlad has just opened his toolbox.
That said, the EU’s economy, currency, and manufacturing has been crippled, and Ukraine is fully dependent on Western aid, a welfare state.
Pretty big difference between being the invaded and fighting for your country’s existence vs being the invader in a mindless war of conquest launched by a mad man.
The Special Operation was dealing with the Ukraine.
I doubt that it was planned as a direct confrontation with NATO and the US.
In their shoes, I would be pleased with the ongoing demilitarization of Europe, NATO and the US, and opt to continue until I saw the bottom of their weapons barrel.
They want to put refuseniks in their army? How will they use them? As minefield detectors?
Vlad’s got this thing won for sure! /s
Very true.
Set down the remote, and step away from the TeeVee.
The world has let every "dirty RuZZian" know that it would kill them if it gets the chance.
The only rebellions taking place are on the same TeeVee channels that gave us "mostly peaceful protests" and the "cleanest election in history".
Dishwashers is what I was told. 😂😂😂
As sure as the sun will rise in the East tomorrow.
But watch the deniers in their cognitive dissonance deny it.
