My burning question:

Why is it necessary to be "open" about your HIV infection? What do you gain by this? What do other's gain by this?

Isn't it possible to remain quiet about having HIV for the rest of your pathetic life without your attention-craving pathology getting in the way? Distinguish yourself in other ways.

Someone needs to keep a register of the people who have aids....for obvious reasons...(hint: tracking outbreaks, and long term sequelae of life long infection with HIV, and the development of comorbidities.). Our health organizations should do that for ALL infectious diseases.
HIV ain’t gonna go away if it continues to be spread
