At that point, people will gladly pay mafia to “protect” their businesses.
California Government has utterly failed.
My question is - is California’s electoral and voting system so rigged and manipulated that change is absolutely impossible? It seems so, because despite its increasing problems, California is increasingly a one-Party state.

The good folks of Sherman Oaks could have separated themselves from Los Angeles, but the LAPD upped patrols just before the vote on separation, and the good folks thought that would be an ongoing thing.
