WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal appeals panel has lifted a judge's hold on the Justice Department's ability to use classified records seized from former President Donald Trump's Florida estate in its ongoing criminal investigation.
The ruling from a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit is a victory for the Justice Department, clearing the way for it to immediately resume its use of the documents as it evaluates whether to bring criminal charges in its investigation into the presence of top-secret government records held at Mar-a-Lago after Trump left the White House.

The ruling could be reviewed by the full 11th Circuit, though I don’t think it’s a requirement. After the 11th is done with it, SCOTUS would be next, IF they chose to take it up.
SCOTUS needs to take it, but they won’t.
Next appeal is an en banc review by the entire 11th Circuit. If they decline, then Trump gets a shot at SCOTUS, if SCOTUS accepts the case.
If they had a case, Trump would have done a perp walk already.
This is just political intimidation of Republicans.
Notice when bad news comes out for Biden (economy, Ukraine, immigration) that they bring this stuff out against Trump the same day and the liberal lemmings rejoice. It’s extremely pathetic. VOTE RED!

The Judiciary had a chance if they had stuck with Judge Cannon’s ruling.
Now it’s obvious they are just another group of anti-Trump operatives engaging in abuse of the law to persecute the President.

Another reason for the mid-terms to swing hard to the Right, and land all of them in front of Congressional committees with their funding on the line.
The 11th sits in Atlanta with jurisdiction over Alabama, Georgia and Florida. Its judges & sponsors are 1 Bush’43, 1 Clinton, 3 Obama and 6 Trump. Will be interesting if they do go for the entire bank of judges.

Two of the three judges who issued Wednesday’s ruling — Britt Grant and Andrew Brasher — were nominated to the 11th Circuit by Trump. Judge Robin Rosenbaum was nominated by former President Barack Obama.
They must have gotten 2 of the Obama/Bush judges... pretty sure they will ask for the entire 11th or emergency to SCOTUS... we know they got years of his tax returns, which I am sure Ms (biased) James in NYC would love to have right now.
This is a civil case, nobody’s being arrested.
Never mind, I was thinking of the wrong case.
