We have a plant near Port Clinton. Only place I have ever seen that has to remove mayflies from the roads with snow plows.
More than a couple states occasionally use snowplows on mayfly hatches, Pennsylvania to Minnesota, and even over the Mississippi River in Iowa.
Pretty much ruins fishing for a few days.
