Denying the right of a people to exist pretty much guarantees that they will fight to the end. But Putin just can’t help himself there. His maximalist rhetoric may play well domestically but in the end he’s totally reliant on the west cutting off support to Ukraine. If they don’t then the corrupt and incompetent Russian military will certainly be destroyed in Ukraine.

Why are we funding Ukraine this way? What is the goal?
Is this because Ukraine is strategic in a way Georgia was not? Is it because Biden is connected to the current Uke government? Or is it for reasons we can’t even understand?
