Justice Department leadership has "weaponized" the DOJ and the FBI "like never has happened in the United States" before, former President Donald Trump, speaking out about his first visit to his Mar-a-Lago home after it was searched almost two months ago, said in an exclusive interview with Newsmax on Tuesday.
And, Trump told Newsmax's "Wake Up America," he had conversations about releasing the video footage of the raid and said it resembled a "military coup."
"They would rather not have me [release the footage] because of the safety of the FBI agents that swarmed the place," Trump said. "I don't think they wanted to swarm it. If you want to know the truth.
"I have a great relationship with people in the FBI ... and for the safety of the people that are in the footage, they've asked us not to. Not to put it out. But we do have it."
Meanwhile, Trump insisted that he and his team have "followed the rules" about the documents and that he is stunned that there was a raid "on the house of a former president who is very popular. I mean, I did get more votes than any sitting president in history," and now the home is "not the same."
"You walk in and you say these people are in here and in your bedroom, and they were in Barron's room and Melania's room," Trump said. "I mean, when you think, how terrible it is."
He added that his wife felt "very violated" that the agents were in her bedroom.
"They go into a closet, they go through her dresses, and who knows what else?" said Trump. "And it wasn't left the way they found it … I think it's a disgrace that a thing like this could happen."

I would expect the pics of FBI agents rooting around through a little boy’s underwear will be as defining and problematic as the pics of FBI holding Elian Gonzales at gunpoint.
Instead, he nominated or appointed deep staters like Wray, Millie, Bolton, Barr etc. etc.
Trump promised to lock Hillary Clinton up, but chose not to because he wanted “peace” the Clintons dont want peace, they want Trump and his entire family in jail, he should have locked that b*tch up when he had the chance

a) FBI agents are public servants with no expectation of privacy when going about the public business
b) If Trump is really worried about them making a stink about it, just pixelate the faces.
This is a process that has been underway for several decades. Ruby Ridge and Waco should have generated a real across the board politically national debate on the organizational culture and function of federal law enforcement agencies. The Gopers from George H W Bush down were adamant that nothing like that would happen. Why? Much of the political class really believes normal, straight, middle class , white Americans are vicious and evil and must be ‘controlled’. How did that happen?

I am glad that President Trump is putting this out there.
Release it. I don’t care about their safety. Each agent made the choice to go on that raid. They could have quit if they cared one iota for our country.

I don’t think he is only/primarily concerned about the safety of those who trashed his place in the raid-it could be that he is using that nice-sounding reason as a lure to encourage some defectors/whistle blowers who know they are in the video to break ranks-or he may be saving the video to detonate it like a nuke at an appropriate time in future...
Absolutely-and every woman would be disgusted and creeped out if she knows that handling/taking items of women’s clothing is what guys with a fetish for that stuff do...
