Actually it was the United States military that did the bombing under the command of President Clinton along with our NATO allies.
I personally was not a big fan of the bombing, but it was pretty clear that Serbia had no significant military ability against NATO or the USA. The same is true today.

Some young people call themselves "military brats" but that term doesn't apply to prior generations who have served.
Malarkey. Gen X-ers and Boomers call themselves military brats. It’s an easy way to explain things or to answer common questions such as “Where are you from?”
I’ve heard fellow military brats refer to themselves in generational terms. A few of my fellow brats had dads who were also raised as military brats and they’ll call themselves second generation military brats.
It is not an uncommon phrase in the brat world.
