That sounds kinda national-socialisty...

"Socialism in One Country". Yep. And now you know why they always referred to the Germans as "Fascists" instead of "Nazis" during "The Great Patriotic War".

Margarita Simonyan, the Editor-in-chief of state-funded RT news, made the following ominous prediction: "By what is happening and still about to happen, this week marks either the eve of our imminent victory, or the eve of nuclear war. I can't see anything third."

Posted on twitter. This is Russia's internal propaganda, and they have stated it since the beginning. Putin will use nukes if he feels he can get away with it.

LOL. Duran Duran? He’s a Kremlin parrot. It was hilarious how he reported how Kharkiv was being “reinforced” one day and “regrouped” the very next day He’s left the videos up. Go have a watch now and see how wrong he is.

"Full mobilzation"?

With what? How will he train them? With what will he equip them? Or is he planning massed infantry attacks with Moisin-Nagants?

When Putin's latest gambit fails, he'll be forced out.

LOL

Do the Uke’s view it that way?

I can ask my old neighbor when I run into him, but he sure as hell did not see the old Soviet empire as vastly different than the current Russian government. Bit like how the American South is still upset about Sherman.

I’ve always heard that the fighting between the commies and the nazis in the 20s and 30s was so bitter because they were competing for the same morons.

Russia has only committed about 10% of its military power to Ukraine

Putin has 75% of Russian ground combat forces in Ukraine.

They are using old S300 battery anti-air missiles to strike civilian targets, as they have or shortly will run out of missiles like Kalibre etc. They just pulled all the S300s from St. Pete’s - they still have the S400 systems in place.

That is what is happening. If those areas become Russian, Russia will take over full control of the military operations in those areas.

This is an escalation of sorts as was the larger involvement of NATO in the conflict.

The nuke stuff is for western consumption. Russia has lost the shooting war and can only win by cutting off western military aid from Ukraine. Otherwise occupying Russians and their equipment will be ground down slowly but surely by NATO precision weapons. Russia has no answer for Javelins and HIMARS.

The Nazis had the better beer.

But once Hitler came to power, Stalin thought that the German Communist Party was too "independent" of Moscow, so Stalin happily gave Hitler the lists of the KPD members they could eliminate. He was actually hoping Hitler would have eliminated Ernst Thalmann, the KPD leader as well, but they didn't murder him until 1943.

He won’t. The main purpose of nukes is to threaten people. If he does it, he will get them back at him.

This woman from RT is not running the country.

This would be like Chris Wallace projecting what he thinks as a fact.

Belarus won't be attacking anyone. Lukashenko is not that stupid, and neither will Kazakhstan, which has just started stopping trucks full of sanctioned products from going into Russia.

Xi will continue to pretend to be sympathetic while marveling at Putin's incompetence and waiting for Russia to make itself completely dependent on exporting raw materials to China and importing Chinese goods while Russia effectively becomes a Chinese colony.

One of the biggest weaknesses the US has is we assume the rest of the world thinks like us.

Russia does not.

By invoking “The Ukrainians have invaded Holy Mother Russia!” The support for the war will jump.

And Russia has not been using all of it’s resources. How much is open to question, but we really don’t know. We do know the air assets are out of the theater. Why? I can speculate but not sure. Same with the conscripts. These are the mercs and regular army.

The only way Putin goes out is feet first. And as a fan of history I am not sure that is the best course.

If history has taught us anything, it most likely won't be. Either one of two things happens. You'll get an even more ruthless Russian leader, or Russia will be weakened to the point that other powers, not friendly to the US will fill the void.

You're assuming Russians are really stupid. They are not. They may enjoy vicariously conquering other countries and the loot that comes from it, but they realize Putin and Shoigu have thoroughly screwed the pooch and will not be too anxious to sacrifice more for further failure.

I’m uncertain how he will take it over militarily without citizens also loosing life unless he does like Ukraine and takes the people over into Russia while the battles rage. I know there’s been many who are already in Russia. That was seen from before and during this conflict. So we shall see.
