“The pattern for all who serve God, famous or obscure, respected or ignored, is that death is the door to glory”

“For me to live is Christ and to die is gain” Philippians 1:21.
Such a warped view ... Goes with Francis declaration that raised eyebrows a couple years ago. HE IS RISEN! Maranatha!
Listen to the full five minute sermon. It is a call to follow Jesus Christ
“Jesus came not to be served but to serve and be a ransom for many. “ - quoted in the sermon
It’s biblical not warped
I am glad it was NOT see a fake and saccharin Hollywood “celebration of her life.”
It was refreshing to see her constantly referred to as “defender of the Faith” and the constant reminders that any earthly authority was derived from God and Jesus Christ.
Amen

Not. Even. Once.
With such a platform, she only spoke in vague terms that can be attributed to most every religion in the world. And during her leadership, Christian principles dissolved, churches were turned into mosques as Britain slips further and further into secular humanism, the exact opposite of what a sovereign is supposed to accomplish.
How can a sovereign proclaiming to know Christ, with a platform like hers, fail to call her subjects to examine themselves to ensure they are in the faith and not be deceived? How is that even possible?
Here is the answer:
"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."
2 Corinthians 11:14-15
Ditto !!!!!
Elizabeth II was to the Angican Church as she was to the state of Great Britain, a symbolic head, unlike the British prime minister or the Archbishop of Cantebury. The former is the actual leader of Great Britain and the leter the actual head of the Anglican Church. The former has the role to speak for the positions of the government on matters of state, and the later has the role of speaking for the Anglican church on ecciesiastic or theological matters; not the Queen/Monarch.
You expected from the Queen what was not in her official duties to do.
I can respect the UK’s memorializing the Queen, but two weeks of showing honor to any corpse is nothing but Idolatry.
“ two weeks of showing honor to any corpse is nothing but Idolatry.”
Wasnt McCains funeral three weeks?
Nonsense. Every Christian as an ambassador of Christ has an obligation to speak the truth using the platform God has given. Official duties is a cop-out. What ambassador in any realm fails to deliver the foundational message from whom he is sent? It doesn’t happen.
I have no “official duty” given by man, yet I use whatever platform I have to tell the truth, chiefly to warn others out of genuine concern for them.
ABSOLUTELY NO Country can do ceremonial events like the BRITS.
Watched it all-—
Amazing all the details & how it all went together seamlessly.
I challenge YOU to put together such an event-—
Thousands were involved in the actual events.
YOu know ZERO (as do we all) of what Elizabeth said privately in her personal role, whether with family, officials, or private citizens.
You condemn her inspite of your ignorance of her, with only her public utterances to go on.
Here is what I do know: 1.
The Great Commission of Matthew 28 isn’t a private matter. It’s antithetical.
2. The fruit of her life. And Jesus said, “You shall know them by their fruit (Mt 7:16).” And the fruit of that tree is filled with links to Masonry, and no testimony to the divinity of Christ and his atoning blood. Instead, the record of her life is vague references.
3. One final test: Who among humans would censor or admonish the queen for testifying to the divinity and power of Christ? The Apostles were told not to by all manner of authorities and they refused. Such has been the testimony of the Church throughout this age. No Christian is called to keep truth secret.
What are you afraid of? Self-examination? Revival?
You are preaching to the choir on scripture, and conflating what YOU think was Elizabeth’s public obligations with your own beliefs about what they were. That is your problem.
Scripture doesn’t support that, hence they are not my unique beliefs.
