The fallout continues after a protest at the University of New Mexico over the appearance of a conservative political commentator. Protesters tried to push their way into the SUN Ballroom, while UNM Police tried to keep them out. The scene is getting national attention Friday. Protesters claim their right to free speech was trampled on because police wouldn’t let them into the event.
People there to see FOX News personality Tomi Lahren claimed protesters tried to deprive them of their free speech by crashing the event. There were protesters chanting to shut down the event as they were trying to get through a UNM Police officer stationed outside the ballroom doors. Inside another officer and organizers try to hold the doors closed. New Mexico State Police were eventually called in. Organizers scrapped the speech early due to what they say were safety concerns.
Lahren and attendees were escorted out the back early after someone pulled a fire alarm. She spoke on her Instagram afterward. “Not nearly enough officers were present. I don’t think anyone knew it would be this bad,” says Lahren.

Tomi is probably lovin’ all the chaos and the clattering.
Any political speaker would be pleased to know that they have raised the hackles of the opposition.

Actually, I don’t know what the fuss is all about. I would think she would be welcomed, given her strong pro-abortion viewpoint.
You would think that would be the case, yes. Since unlike most conservatives, Tomi is pro abortion in most circumstances. But the fact that she holds ANY conservative viewpoints, and the fact that Tomi is a Fox News favorite, is enough to have Libs call her a ‘Dangerous Monster’, one who must be neutralized and silenced in any effective manner.
Why? Conservatives don’t embrace liberals who happen to have one conservative belief.
Jordan Peterson claims to get around this problem by scheduling all of his talks at 8AM.
Her pro-abortion position is not trivial. It puts her firmly on the side of the most seditious aspect of the Democrat party. She can spout her pro-2nd amendment views all day long, but her deepest held position betrays her respect for innocent and defenseless human life.
Amazing how the Left thinks. No reason nor rationale involved.

Tomi was on Clay and Buck. Said venues will insist on more security and that it will be too expensive to speak.
