On the occasional conversations I have with leftists that bring up today's Nazis, I let them have it.
After I tell them what I know about Dachau, I belittle them on their intellectual laziness and condescension. Too few people know that Dachau was built in 1933 to house political prisoners and other "deplorables". Incarceration of Jews would not occur for several years after that.
When I taught Old Testament to 6th graders at my parish, we had a lesson at the end of the year titled, "Living One's Faith." I supplemented that lesson with a DVD on Dachau and Sachensenhausen.
It was very powerful, and age appropriate (no pictures of naked corpses, for example). I never received a negative word about that in nearly 20 years of instruction.

They don’t get that people like us killed the nazis and ensured what they did would never happen again.
But, here we are with Biden dehumanizing millions of people for our freedom loving, equal opportunity, leave us alone ideology. The next Dachau might occur on mainland US. It’s up to us to ensure it doesn’t through education, debate, and the democratic process.
If those fail, decisions will have to be made.
