It’s just a folk saint. If you were an infantryman facing a squad of tanks hellbent on shredding you and pulping your remains into pink mud you’d be praying for the intervention of St. Javelin of ATGM too…tutting is rather presumptuous…

People who make a point of oppressing civilian populations with armor don’t exactly stand on a pedestal of righteousness…IMHO Russians eschewed the high ground when they invaded and knowingly attacked civilians. Did they even bother to issue a declaration of justification founded in the laws of war?

Being fairly well versed in the Catholic religion (thanks to 18 years in excellent Catholic schools, and senior seminars with Brother Victor), I can say with some authority that this is not actually blasphemy.

No actual saint is mocked - and that is on its own not a very grave matter. One could say they were having fun with the idea of saintly patronage, but that is mere custom.

So take that stick out of your butt.
