There are lots of people doing much better sketch comedy with almost no budget at all on other platforms. SNL is part of the dying media.
What’s funny is that now most of the cast members from the late 80s/early 90s are conservatives: Dennis Miller, Victoria Jackson, Jim Brewer, Jon Lovitz, and Rob Schneider.
