Of course not. One is not losing by destroying half of the enemy army and holding to all the original objective.

If you want to look like ass kicking is looking do not look further that the US escape from Iraq and Afghanistan. Complete with tail between legs.
Russia is normally winning its wars, especially existential like this.

“Tell me there’s not an irony when Tass is more truthful than 95% of western media”

Tell me there’s not an irony when you’re effectively saying that a press organ that is not even allowed to publish bad news on the Russia-Ukraine front, is “more truthful” as a result.

Tass and the Daily Mail are both as bad as each other - they are merely aggregators of content from other sources, which are then filtered through very strong editorial biases, and they don’t do investigative journalism unless it’s in support of that bias.

Has Tass released any figures for the Russian war dead yet? Admitted that Wagner has Nazis in it? Acknowledged that several prominent separatist leaders have fled Ukraine, and are in fact posting from safe locations inside Russia?

https://tass.com/world/1508395 for example is really no different to the kind of article you see on the Daily Mail site, where a Ukrainian figure or agency just speculates on something and they turn it into a news story.

“Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the Kherson Region’s military-civilian administration, told TASS on Friday.”

They could’ve added, “From his safe apartment at the Marriott in Voronezh, Russia”.

Also on Friday, TASS were told Ukraine was launching two counteroffensives. Did they report it?

Maybe I’m being too unforgiving and I missed the article where TASS described the rise of Kirill Stremousov. He was a second rate blogger and thug who ran for People’s Deputy of Ukraine in 2019, but was so massively unpopular even in the pro-Russian community that he received a thrilling 1.74% of the vote...

The following year he ran for office again and still lost comprehensively; only 29% of voters came to vote in Kherson (data from the city TEC), and only 32.39% in the Kherson region. Of the votes cast, only 31.12% went to candidates not from the four main parties. Kirill stood as an independent and as far as I can tell didn’t even attract enough votes to make it on the list of also-rans.

He then joined United Russia, and suddenly got handed the keys to the kingdom. The American Dream, effectively. Complete and utter failure as a politician, ignored or loathed by his own people, but so far up the Kremlin’s ass he got rewarded.

The people who know a thing or two wrote volumes on it here. I am not in a mood to educate simpletons who base their judgement on mainstream media.

“mainstream media”

Well it seems to me the media you and your fellow putards are reading is truthy enough for you all to make BS predictions that never came to fruition:

“The Ukes are down about 75% of the army they started with. They’re in no position to stop anyone.

“The Ukes are down about 75% of the army they started with. They’re in no position to stop anyone.”

Well for starters, Based on recent events the above is incorrect. How does an army 75% depleted stop Russian advances and retake territory?

The quality of the force is degrading along with its combat capability. Just look at the price they paid for the ‘Harkov rout’ which is for pure propaganda value.
Putin is not advancing because there is now a bigger fish to fry.

Ah Nosewanking, you decided to tell the truth about Putin’s ambitions?

In your post, Nosewanking you wrote “the more the objectives needs to be expanded. There are Baltic states and Poland in need of liberation”
