Well, we aren’t a perfect democracy, either. And if I had my way, the 17th Amendment would be repealed, and democracy would also be thwarted by restricting the government back to its Constitutional limits.
I'm sure the U.S. has much say in the EU's decisions. We "project our power" all over the Western World and into much of the Third World. Germany is our puppet.

An “Electoral Autocracy” is still a democracy, as long as the population or their elected representatives vote to select the autocratic leader. No country on earth is a pure “democracy”, just varying forms of government that include direct elections in some form. Orban clearly won the election, so they redefine “democracy” to exclude Hungary. Why stop at calling him an autocrat? Just go straight to Nazi.
BTW, the foundation of America is not “life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.” It is TRUTHS.
Those are anti-Americans who deny us the freedom to share evidence of TRUTHS that a much higher murder rate is committed by blacks, that muslims bring problems, that COVID was not a serious threat for healthy young people, that vaxxes murdered, that Trump won 2020, that Jan 6 is a false flag, etc.
