I remember when it was in South LA. I went into the Air Force in 1970, and when I got out in 1974 I started looking at schools, and discovered that Peppardine had moved to Malibu. I thought, “Wow, that’s not far from home, and it’s a great location: I’ll check it out.” Then I found out the tuition, and the GI Bill would not have made a dent in that. So, I looked elsewhere.
