Residents of several cities in the Rostov region reported a powerful explosion. Citing eyewitnesses, local publication 161.ru noted that the distance between some of the witnesses was nearly 125 miles.
The sound of the explosion was heard by 161.ru readers in Rostov-on-Don, Azov, Taganrog, Novoshakhtinsk, Shakhty, Novocherkassk, Aksay, and Yeysk.
According to eyewitnesses, "fences trembled in some places" after the explosion and car alarms went off in Rostov-on-Don. Near the village of Peshkovo (about 30 miles from Rostov-on-Don), witnesses noticed three or four sources of black smoke.
Baza, citing eyewitness accounts, videos and photos on social media, reported that an air-defense system in Taganrog had been triggered, and that black smoke could be seen near the village of Chaltyr (about 12 miles from Rostov-on-Don).
161.ru wrote that the press service of the main directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Rostov region had no information about the explosion or other emergencies. Representatives of the regional authorities have not commented on the situation.

In the US that means a meth lab blew up.
When a college student’s meth lab not far from me blew up and caused an immediate bright orange fire all across the upper floor apartments above the campus Jimmy John and then burned out the sub place and stores with them, I made this original joke:
“Are these subs toasted?”
“They are now.”
Nobody died, no thanks to the college bum.
Doubt it. Attacking Russian homeland would be stupid now that the EU is winning. It would only make it possible for the Russians to finally get off their butts declare war and order a full mobilization.
Except that:
The military command of the Russian Federation suspends the sending of new, already formed, units to the territory of Ukraine due to the mass refusal of volunteers to participate in hostilities. This is stated in the operational summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook on Monday, September 12.
The General Staff notes that there is a growing distrust to the higher command in Russia, due to which a large number of volunteers categorically refuse the prospect of service in combat conditions.

Who knows?
There really is no reason to believe anything we read about any of this.
Or, US special forces have just started WW3.
Go, Giant Meteor 2022!
When you start a war, the other side gets a turn.
Russia should understand this, as should the US.
To say that Russia can not be attacked after attacking a sovereign neighbor is stupid.
We don’t even know for a fact the explosion happened, let alone where, why, or how.
Not my circus, not my monkeys. Just pointing out that politicians everywhere are cynical, and populations everywhere are gullible. If Ivan can whip up phony outrage over the Germans blowing up stuff in Mother Russia, then the blowback might be unfortunate.
Suppose They Gave a War and Nobody Came
sounds to me like a phony-baloney pretext for the russkies to “retaliate” with tactical nukes ...
As with all other information from there.
Boom Boom...Out Go The Lights!
As with all other information from there.
The leadership of the USA has decided to dump tons of money into this war.
Ask yourself why?
All I know is that there is an exceedingly low chance I support anything DC enthusiastically supports.
Off the top of my head. I seriously cannot think of anything they are “all in” for, that I support.
“Residents of several towns in Rostov (Russia) region report powerful explosion”
Could this be further work of National Republican Army (Russia) an underground partisan group of Russians inside Russia working towards the violent overthrow of the Putin government?
LOL, they have never been shown to exist. They were created in haste as a cover story when the Uke Azov assassin murdered that young female journalist instead of her dad.
It begs many larger questions.
We know what they are.
