One’s own children’s have far more value. Then a career will ever have.

The best reason IMO to raise kids is they'll hopefully give you grandchildren. I'm three times lucky: grandson 12, granddaughters 2 years and 10 months respectively.

We had the 2 YO this weekend, and she's a hoot! I didn't see the zippers on the sides of her boots until after putting the first one on.

When I unzipped the second boot, she said, "there you go!"

Yes. It was a big con in the late seventies and early eighties to tell us not to have more than two children, all in order to save the planet. Thankfully, my youngest son is making up for my foolishness and having as many as God will bestow upon him. He and his wife have a handful and will welcome all that they are blessed with.
