That calculation certainly does not include the inevitable fraud and mismanagement. So I’m guessing that the final number might be closer to double that.
You are right about the fraud and mismanagement. Look at all the other government programs :(
Still, it’s nice to see an article pointing out how much will come out a taxpayer’s pocket, even if underestimated. Most people seem to just think of the huge federal budget when they hear about these programs, not what it personally costs them.
