The funny thing is, the press hysteria over Trump being a madman likely played to his advantage in dealing with foreign countries. The leaders in those countries probably bought into the messaging and thought they were dealing with a very dangerous man; so they behaved, not wishing to get nuked, as the press would have them believe.
