Following recommendations by the United Nations and the World Economic Forum, governments and “education” publishers are using “public schools” to indoctrinate American children into eating bugs and weeds.

The Newman Report received pictures of an assignment for 5th grade students in a Sarasota, Florida, elementary school touting the alleged benefits of consuming insects.
The documents, sent by a concerned parent turned whistleblower, begin with a reading assignment headlined “Bugs: Food of the Future?”
Another reading assignment for the same 10-year-old student, this one headlined “Eating Bugs and Seaweed: Americans Need to Open Their Minds,”
Does this mean PETA will regroup and start a PETB chapter?
G’luck with that. My old man never got me to eat liver, and my daughter can’t get her daughter to eat eggs.
They might get a boy to dink around and say he’s a girl, but . . . eat bugs?
Nah!
Kaiser Klaus and that weasel Yuval Noah Harari can go do the physically impossible. Oh, and I’m having smoked ham for Sunday Supper.
Bugs contain parasites and they are gross. Take your kids out of these schools.
The elites are not going to eat bugs.
This is all part of the elitists contempt for the non-elites. It is not enough for some people to have power and wealth to be happy. Their joy comes in seeing others live a miserable existence. They want to live atop a pile of skulls.
if brain washing worked then why has communism failed everywhere? commies always try this, and it never works.
You may semi-convince gullible children for a short while, but they eventually grow up and learn the truth.
I eat seaweed and have eaten bugs. I have both now, in my home, and I eat seaweed often.
I don’t see a problem with trying any potential food source.
I do see a problem with requiring it.
No bugs for human consumption have parasites.
They are raised in an environment in which that shouldn’t be possible.
I guess some of these posters have never travelled lol. Seaweed is delicious, and so are many so called weeds, in fact dandelions were explicitly introduced as a food crop to the new world. And most of us will pay top dollar for arthropoda from the sea
Yeah, commies always fail.
But it takes them 80 years.
I say we just nip it in the bud from now on.

We need to reject this outright.
I think when we see it being introduced in our schools, in media, and promoted by the propaganda machine most critical thinkers can see what is coming.
The “elites” ain’t talking about trying out stuff we find in the Asian food store....
I don’t believe anything they say or do. None of it.
Recently, I was at the dentist’s, and on the telescreen was a morning show which I couldn’t avoid watching. The topic was cooking and eating cicadas. There were a group of adults there, and one kid, maybe 10 years old. The adults all dutifully consumed their cicada, and pronounced them edibile, if not delicious. The kid popped one in his mouth and instantly spat it out!
Sometimes kids are more honest than adults.
I’ve traveled.
You’re welcome to eat whatever you please, as long as it’s not long pig. We have laws against that in this country.
Seaweed is not tasty to me. No thank you.
Insects, as commonly referred to, not distant tasty relatives, are disgusting unless you have nothing else to eat and face imminent starvation.
Never liked lobster. Never liked crayfish. Enjoy common, tasty foods you find on a common farm all across the country. You know, the same foodstuff our ancestors thrived on.
Nobody has the right to force me to eat food I do not want to eat. I will resort to producing my own food if necessary.
It's not really a hill worth dying on or an issue to spotlight. I do draw the line at outright cannibalism, though.
“mystery meat”...or just put ‘em on pizza -yum!

Sure, let’s eat bugs and weeds. I’m sure Selco enjoyed doing that. /sarc
