Putin must be seething. He lost the nerve centre for supplying food and weapons to his troops in the north east.
Wishful thinking.
Might take a while. But keeping Odessa free has just gotten easier.
I wonder if Russia will go nuclear.
I’m happy to see this but lets not celebrate yet. Wait for them to hold their newly won real estate. When they have Kharkiv and Izium secured and all the roads between then I will feel confident the Russian scum can’t bounce back from this. I would also like to see the Kerch straits bridge demolished.
Nope, factual. Russian people in Belgifrad are noting this. And the Russian military has said they have made a “strategic regrouping” ie a retreat
Not a chance. The frontlines are too close to Moscow and to Russian cropland to risk nuclear fallout
I agree. No celebrating until Putin retreats completely from Ukraine
I’m in no hurry. Although it isn’t in the best interest of Ukrainians, it is in the best interest of western democracy and capitalism if this war drags on and Russian losses are maximized.
Putin is wounded and may become irrational.
I agree with not celebrating too early, but it’s hard to imagine Russia coming back from this kind.
I just don’t think the will to fight is there for the Russia forces and their commanders. Putin can do all the tough guy act he wants, but he isn’t the one who’s going to actually risk his life on the front lines.
Agree.
Russia has been planning poorly with regards to supply chain matters since the beginning.
With the Ukies kicking so much Russki ass, how come they keep hitting their uncle Jo Jo the Pedophile up for billions of dollars every week? It’s time to cut those nasty boyz off before they turn on us and kick our asses too.
For Ukraine to have this kind of success this far into a war that was supposed to be over in a week is rather mind-boggling. It has to be a huge morale boost for Ukrainian resistance, and a heavy blow to Russian morale at the same time because it will be impossible to hide this from both civilians and troops.
You are kidding, right?
The USA is earning a long term ally in Eastern Europe. In a few years we won't need to fund NATO because the Ukrainians will take care of defending the rest of Europe against the Russians for us.
By the time the Russians are done destroying their military in Ukraine they won't be much of a non-nuclear threat to anyone, and certainly not the Ukrainians.
The Russian troops don’t have their hearts in this fight. It’s not like they are defending the motherland. Rather they are invading a fellow east Slav country.
It’s not every week, no matter what the Kremlin tells you.
And this pressure is needed until Putin withdraws
