“Gender-confirmation surgery.” Otherwise more correctly known as “gender-denial surgery”.

Every time I hear the phrase "gender-affirming care", it reminds me that they mean "gender-denying care".

After all, the purpose of the whole theater is to deny the person's actual gender.

The term “actual gender” implies that there is some kind of “absolute truth”, which of course is ridiculous. If I have an apple in each hand and place them together, my truth says I’ll have 6 tomatoes and a chicken. And you must acknowledge that, because it’s “my truth”.
