100% agree. It’s just never good enough for the woke crowd. They practically want us self flagellating for being white.

The Brits civilized much of the world. Their colonies introduced education, security, built infrastructure, and so much more. Then set them up for future independence. I wonder what Africa and Asia would look like today without British colonialism then????

If the Europeans had never gone to Africa it would exist today as it did over 500 years ago. Nomadic tribes wondering all over, pillaging and raiding the weaker.

With no culture or inventions to speak of and absolutely no forward motion of development. Africa would exist as they had for 10’s of thousands of years.

That is the facts no one in the Liberal World wishes to acknowledge them. So there is good and bad in the situation. If there had been no slave trade then there would have been no Africans brought to the Western Hemisphere, so it becomes a thorny debatable question for many.

The last 50 plus years have seen our freedoms being torn apart. We are not the free country we once were. Progressive Politics has destroyed us from the inside.

Actually the banning of the import of slaves into the United States happened in 1807, not long after England banned slavery.

Yes she does! She has a Cockney accent, somewhat tempered by having lived in Surrey for years. She laughed when I read your post to her.

Slavery still exists in some African and middle eastern countries. Why doesn’t Rick Stengel spend a part of his job outing that horror?

Or even the mini SlaveryLite of illegals working under the table because employers can get away with paying them less?

Or the slavery lite lite of people in our country living off the labor of others based on lies of ‘disabiliy’? Forccing others to pay for their sloth?

Someone on another thread speculated that the queen left that gift to Megan Markle in her will.
