People in Switzerland who violate the country’s new heating rules which forbid setting the temperature above 19°C (66.2F) in the colder months will face up to three years in prison.
Multiple sources, take your pick
Maybe they can burn solar panels in their fireplaces.
I wonder if the prisons are warmer...
Perhaps it’s warmer in prison.
The whole world is going f’n nuts!
At least the prisons are kept at 69F.
(The whole world is going nuts!)
Spirit of antichrist motivating the secular and the ungodly.
Paving the way for Satan’s anti-messiah THE Antichrist and the 7-year deal of ‘Peace and Security’.

You Wil. Freeze to death and you will like it. Meanwhile all the elites will have all the heat they want and then some!
Will they be conducting raids on suspiciously warm houses? Or will they develop a network of informers?
—”new heating rules which forbid setting the temperature above 19°C (66.2F)”
A NOTHING BERGER!
And above long existing codes in most locations.
Germany “If the room temperature sinks below 16C, the landlord must turn the heating on immediately.”

Chicago: “the indoor temperature is required to be at least 64°F at all hours.”
Keep it too warm and you are asking to get sick.
In our house, we keep the primary stat 65F (only above that from solar gain, cooking or a burning fireplace), the bedrooms are 62, a very comfortable sleeping temperature.
The bathrooms and most of the house have heated floors and in my master bath, I have a bidet with a heated seat plus an 8-foot radiant ceiling panel.
Everything is fed by a 98% efficient Weil McLain Ultra gas boiler.
Yeah baby…back to the Middle Ages…buy more wool coats…never mind sheep have a negative impact on the environment…ain’t the green new deal wonderful?
I can imagine a force driving around with hand held temperature reading devices similar to a code enforcement officer in some cities. Once they detect a temperature out of range they send in the police to read temperature inside.
Doesn’t swiss law require every citizen be armed?
“In our house, we keep the primary stat 65F “
So do we. 60 at night. I see my neighbors walking around in shorts and t-shirts so they must be keeping it pretty warm.
“never mind sheep have a negative impact on the environment”
Oh no. They use them to keep the grass down beneath the virtue signaling solar panels at the IBM plant down the road.
“setting the temperature”
That implies a thermostat. Not on a wood-burning fireplace. Greta’s gonna get the crazy madz.
It’s a wonder the Nazi Klaus Schwab didn’t demand they be SHOT , they’re useless eaters after all
The orderly Swiss have pretty strong authoritarian, if not (yet) totalitarian, tendencies. I’ve been told that one of my great-grandfathers fled Swiss political persecution in the 1850s, though I don’t know any details.

Our utility bills show how our usage compares in the neighborhood and will show your percentile.
While bragging to the neighbors about how my new AC heat pump will move me into the top spot, they said the husband often leaves the stat up and lights on and they were not #1 ???
It was then decided #1 must be the vacant house down the road that is being completely rebuilt!
With Crazy Brandon’s new energy prices it will be difficult to stay on top.
We have a strong German and Polish contingent and they will put on the third sweater to avoid the crazy gas bills.
Being the son of a Scotsman, I and my German/Norweigan wife will give them a good run.
Police: “You like it hot? OK...vee burn your house down.”
What will be the temp in prison?
