Well my niece, her husband, all their friends and they all have kids and are all Democrats.
All my husband’s family in NJ are democrats and all their friends who have kids and grandchildren as well are Democrats. A great number of NJ people have kids and grandkids and are Democrats. Same is true in NY. How is it, although we all know this, this study ignores those obvious facts?
I’d love to believe this but it’s not true. It makes for a false sense of security.
“May” Anecdotes are sometimes exceptions that prove the rule. My parents were always far left, despite having four kids. I, however, am a deplorable, ultra-MAGA right-wing extremist and have four kids. It’s a tendency, not a hard and fast rule.

Not always. The wealthy with kids in this area are left. Very left.
The reverse seems more true, since the rabid anti-establishmentarianism of the 1960s (in part spurred by opposition to the draft for Vietnam), an anti-Christian, anti-American and anti-family mania that was taken up by the universities and has been carried forward by their faculties, departments of "education" and medical schools, and subsequently by teachers' unions, seeping down through the K-12 schools.
