McConnell holds the purse strings for Senate candidates, NRSC. Note: it’s not his money, it is brought to him by those that want him to manage who gets and who doesn’t get financing for Senate campaigns. In other words, it’s a sneaky way to buy Senate seats. Those that bring $$$ also bring money for ‘book deals’ and sinecures for family members or special relations.
McCarthy is similarly positioned in the House.

McConnell would rather have Democrats control the Senate than have Judge Roy Moore as a member.

I really expect him to win the primary.
If some of the libertarians would get behind people like Bolduc and Leavitt, we could stand a good chance of beating the democrats in any office.
The guy next to me in my office went to high school with her @ Central Catholic in Lawrence, MA.
Or in this case Matt Mowers.
For some reason the Mowers campaign is behind the attacks on Karoline Leavitt. Maybe Matt is jealous of Ms. Leavitt's success when she worked at the Trump White House.
Matt Mowers is spending campaign funds donated by conservative Republicans to attack another conservative Republican. That proves he is a uniparty stooge. Maybe that is why he voted twice in the last presidential primaries. He reportedly had a crush on Chris Christie.
Tim Baxter is a solid, freedom loving conservative from the libertarian side of the Republican party. He has been endorsed by Rand Paul, and Rep. Massie. Baxter is a strong 2nd amendment supporter, and is currently a NH State Rep.
Just don't vote for Mowers, he has already turned on his fellow Republicans.
She was on War Room a few minutes ago. A real firecracker!
I just contributed to her campaign.
