The fact is these cities need the replacement Americans to replace those - including blacks - who flee. A news story mentioned the new students in NYC’s schools now; with de Blasio’s destruction of the “elite” schools, they certainly were losing students already.

Much of the NYC metro area (including my part of NJ) are losing population, and long before this recent border situation had accepted that illegals were the only way to keep housing and schools full.
