There is MORALITY. And there is POLITICS. If you screw up the POLITICS, you will get unlimited abortion to birth and beyond because most Americans in most states do NOT support the Zero Abortion option!
The question is, “Do you want SOME restrictions, and the right to argue for narrowing the window further, or will your demands push America into an unlimited abortion position?”
Sorry, but what is moral doesn’t win until you convince a comfortable MAJORITY to enact it. That majority doesn’t exist, and the other side is using this window of opportunity to enshrine abortion rights into Constitutions and Federal law! Once written, it will take another 50 years - or MORE - to undo it!
Actually, the left has had their way for about 50 years now-the right to abortion on demand since Roe v Wade passed-but now that has been given to the states by the SC which is where it should have been all this time-it is a state matter to decide. If the majority of 1 state want to go on a baby-killing spree, then that state has a moral issue-but that is not the business of any other state-if Michigan wants to have abortions at any stage of pregnancy, that is up to the voters there-yelling about it to anyone in another state isn’t going to change a thing, because we don’t live or vote there...
No one’s baby daughter or baby son should be murdered.
It should not be legal for anyone’s baby daughter or baby son to be murdered in any period of time.
Not in a six-week period of time.
Not in a three-month period of time.
