The battery in my car weighs 30 lbs, not 500. In fact, my battery is recyclable. I worked at a landfill and we recycled TONS of them every week. They were so marketable we had to employ extra security to keep them from being stolen.

You still haven’t answered my question about the “new” batteries ingredients, don’t you know? Your recent posts imply you know everything about them.

I’ve said I like many things about EV’s, but don’t join in the chorus of the lying, lunatic, liberal left and continue their deceptive, dishonest “zero emissions” hoax.

Exactly my point.

I have no intention and have never posted hype. I am still waiting for you to come forth with that freeper you said posted that hype.

Maybe you are hyping?

Anyone who thinks CO2 is bad has been gaslighted 100%, and therefore must have a very weak mind.

I was over-hyped by the below:

“Perhaps they are filled with compressed unicorn facts? “

It didn’t include the CO2 emitted by manufacturing the vehicles, making the tires, the wires, the bodies, bumpers and batteries. Of course one must include the power production to charge the batteries, wind turbines, solar energy, NG, Coal, of Nukular. What is the footprint of every car compared to the footprint of a gas driven car. I would bet it is very similar or worse than a new car filled up with good old gasoline.

That is not true. There is a loss of energy. My gas powered car can travel farther and faster than the best EV on the same amount of energy. How can the EV be more efficient? I can drive an 800 miles in 12 hours, counting fillups, listening to my stereo, AC on full, windshield wipers flapping. How far can an EV go? 200 Miles in good weather? 5 hours charging, then 200 miles more? That is 11 hours and you have gone 1/2 the distance. Then how long to find a place to plug in? Maybe taxpayers will see to it that there are 1,000 places to plug in for the 10,000 cars on the road who need one.

“That is not true. There is a loss of energy. “

And it is more for the gas engine.

Tesla can go 400+ and recharge 200 mile range in 15 minutes.

Tesla navigation does all that for you.

Tesla, alone, has 35,000 SUPERCHARGERS.

And the number of 110/220 outlets in the US numbers in the hundreds of millions.

“My gas powered car can travel farther and faster than the best EV on the same amount of energy.”

The combined-cycle gas turbine is 60% efficient. The EV 80. 80x60 = 48%.

The gas car is about 20%.

GM just announced a new EV. My main question is: Do they come with any instructions on how to charge during a Kalifornia blackout?

When numerous others start listing the negatives of EV’s and you respond “...but, but but...” that’s not hyping? Yes, YOU are THAT Freeper. BTW “Unicorn facts” are “Unicorn farts”. Darn auto correct.
