The race for New Hampshire’s First Congressional District’s seat will take its final shape Sept. 13. Republican primary voters will decide who will face off in the general election against U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas, the two-term Democratic incumbent from Manchester.
The five Republicans running in the Sept. 13 primary present voters with the opportunity to nominate a conservative from the younger generation of the party in state Rep. Tim Baxter, former White House aide Karoline Leavitt or former U.S. State Department official Matt Mowers, who was the 2020 nominee for the CD 1 seat, losing to Pappas in the general election.
Also running is former journalist in Gail Huff Brown (wife of former U.S. senator and ambassador Scott Brown) and business owner Russell Prescott, who is a former state senator and executive councilor.

Gail Huff Brown (Scott Brown's wife) should be rejected utterly. Glad she's a distant third.
Mowers or Leavitt will be the nominee.
Agree.
Mowers is the “establishment”candidate. He is from NJ.
I’m originally from NJ.
I’m voting for Leavitt.
I am in district #2. However, IF I was in your district, I too would be voting for Leavitt.
Now, IF we could only get rid of our incumbent Troll Kuster in NH2.
By contrast Mowers was actually Dr. Birx's chief of staff. And before that he apparently worked for Chris Christie.
Mowers does not seem like the best choice for NH.
Tim Baxter is also a good choice. Baxter has been endorsed by Rand Paul, and he is a very strong 2nd amendment supporter.
Gail Huff Brown is just a visitor from Massachusetts whose claim to fame is being married to a former MA senator and failed NH candidate. She is a nice lady, but not the person that should be running against Chris Pappas.
Amen to that. It won't be easy, but keep working on reaching and converting young voters. Someday the kids at Keene State may well vote out the leftist fools that get elected now.
