No, sorry for the type. I meant expressed consent:
Expressed consent: Expressed consent is a term used for the permission which can be explicitly given either verbally or in writing.
Unbelievable!
bkmk
“Any adult who touches any part of my child’s body without my express consent will be made dead... for real.”
If the crosswalk monitor takes your kid’s hand to help them cross the street the BAM!
Do you use a gun or ax. Guns are illegal in school zones.
“Expressed consent is a term used for the permission which can be explicitly given either verbally or in writing.”
I hope Gigi gets that in writing!
State sponsored child sex trafficking.
I’m so proud of my Granddaughter who chose to online home school this year. She gets the weeks assignment’s done on Monday and Tuesday.
“Kids are mostly annoying... Anyone feeling differently, unless they are maybe a childless woman, I find suspect.”
Would that include Jesus?
Mark 10:13-16 (NKJV)
Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.
Jesus wasn’t an ordinary man.
Hmmm, appears to be same psychology at work as when the crazies gravitate toward careers in psychiatry.
It would be sad, but these people are in positions of power, needing to throw their weight around.
Proof that government doesn’t abide by the same rules as the private sector, and it makes sure the little people know it.
But He viewed children differently than you:
Matthew 18:2-4 (NKJV)
Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
Also, numerous passages instruct us to follow His example:
John 13:13-15 (NKJV)
You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
1 Peter 2:21 (NKJV)
For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps.
I do get what you are saying about some adults who seem preoccupied with children. Might be a good idea to be sure you know who you’re dealing with before entrusting children to their care. We need to be sure that there is accountability and safety measures are in place to protect children from predators.
I’m just saying, don’t go overboard. Some adults love children without any ulterior motives. And at minimum, the Bible tells us not to despise “little ones”. They are not a nuisance, but a blessing.
“But He viewed children differently than you:”
That’s fine. God didn’t make us all little automatons who have to feel the same way about everything.
“Some adults love children without any ulterior motives.”
Sure, and I don’t automatically assume everyone has bad intentions. I merely said they are “suspect”. Which means I’d keep my eye on them a bit more than someone else.
“And at minimum, the Bible tells us not to despise “little ones”. They are not a nuisance, but a blessing.”
Well, that’s all quite subjective. They may be a blessing to their families, but their is a good reason that even their own family members often call children “brats”, “little hellraisers”, etc.
