The DOJ will only appeal the decision if they can shop for a Judge that’s in their back pocket.

Barr just proved he is not much of a lawyer either. If anything is overturned on appeal it will probably be the insanely broad search warrant. A good chunk of the stuff taken - Trump’s medical records and his passport had no relevance to the alleged crime. It was simply part of a fishing expedition. Another chunk will be found to be covered by executive privilege and no Biden cannot remove that privilege from his predecessor and he will be glad he can’t when Trump prosecutes him in 2025.
The FBI has said they have already reviewed the large majority of the documents presummably including ones that will be found to be privileged. Can they unsee what they have already seen? No of course not therefore the entire investigation is now tainted, fruit of the poison tree.
Anyway the “investigation” was all just cover for the real reason for the raid. They believe Trump has copies of documents that will prove incriminating for the FBI, documents he declassified shortly before he left office and which the agency slow walked and never released. FBI Director Wray can’t sleep at night until he knows those documents or copies of them are not in Trump’s hands.
If Bill Bar had done his job we wouldn’t have had two impeachments or crooked Joe Biden in the White House.
