He was doing TOO well, which is why the Deep State of back then intervened, and started threatening him and his family.
After they had crippled his campaign with the "weird dropout", they let him back in to finish off Grabby Poppy Bush with the coup-de-grace.
Maybe palin should drop out if it can keep the seat republican. We need every seat to get a majority.
For the sake of the Palins, Trumps and Walkers in the world, it pays to vote. They are found in the Republican Party, which hasn’t gone totally over to the dark side, not in the Democrat Party, which has. If you must vote in a horror movie, vote for the half vampire, not the full-fledged vampire.
That would be very big and generous of her, but she’s got the name recognition, and it may have gone to her head.

Begich is a perfect deep stator

Let’s not engage in revisionist history. Nick Begich was running for this seat long before Sarah Palin was as a challenger to Don Young’s right.
Begich was running for this seat long before Sarah Palin as a challenger to Don Young’s right.
Palin did not enter the race until 6 months later after Don Young died.
If little Nickie isn't up for sticking a thumb in the eye of the national Democrats and the national Media, then he's not on Team Republican/conservative.
He's on Team Personal Grift.
Conservatives don't vote for grifters.
[You are assuming that Begich has any interest at all at helping Palin win the seat. Isn’t there bad feelings between the two and doesn’t Palin have some issues with Alaska voters?]
Sarah won but the new vote sharing lost her this round.
This violated 1 man 1 vote as it gives your vote to someone else.

If Begich doesn't get what a giant stick in the eye to the Establishment Sarah Palin is, he's either stupid, or he's just another Pubbie grifter.
Begich was running 6 months before Palin as a challenger to Don Young's right. Palin didn't get in the race until 6 months after him and after Don Young died. She was the spoiler who popped in late to the game as an opportunist - popular with her base but very unpopular in Alaska at large.
That's reality.
Many, many times I’ve told a political aspirant - no one has a right to any appointment, nomination, or election to office. You gotta earn them. Like many others before him and following him in offices throughout the country, Begich does not own this opportunity.
RCV is garbage, correct - but if you went with just the plurality only she lost by an even larger margin.
Absolutely correct, but that standard applies to all candidates, not just Begich.
We have a great deal of revisionist history and fact free analysis going on here.
So sad that on the right we increasingly have people forming opinions based purely on feelings/emotions and what they want to be true vs. what the facts and the truth actually are. We are becoming more and more like the Left in that regard with each passing day.
Team "Grift For Nick Begich".
Palin is a beatdown for the National Media-Democrat Machine.
If the little puke Nicky is only up for fighting for his grift, and the Pub National Committee don't put a stop to it, then I say let the Pubbies fight the Democrats and their vote fraud WITHOUT the votes of conservatives.
Now, YOU are welcome to vote for Begich. But you're not a conservative.
No, they're still scrabbling for their little piece of the political pie, lying to the voters till the next "election".
The goal is to politically club the Democrats and their fellow travelers into insensibility.
Palin is a GREAT club.
Nick "Nick Who?" Begich is not.
Trump ripped the mask off the Republican establishment types.
You're no better than the Democrats. Your political siren songs are just a little bit better than the outright Commie blow that the Dems spew.
Palin ran for Governor, and won because she wasn't part of the Alaska Republican establishment. She unseated Governor Frank Murkowski in the primary for Governor. He'd been Senator from Alaska for 22 years before he became Governor.
