The US invaded Iraq and fought there for 8 years. Lost a bit over 4000 people. Our media was outraged at the bloodbath and liked to report a regular body count to convince people how horrible George W. Bush’s war was.
Ukraine stages a counter offensive and quickly loses 3000 people. Oh well.
Whose war was Vietnam and how many did we lose? 50,000?
About 55,000 directly. And climbing indirectly.
This government poisoned a whole lot of our boys over there.
Except the real number is probably less than 300. The fighting in that area has not been that intense. The Russians have to fall back because precision artillery destroys their fixed defensive positions.
