The agitprop media are full of polls and pundits predicting doom for the GOP's hopes to win a majority in the Senate...with an assist from Mitch McConnell. All of this before Labor Day, the traditional time when American voters start paying attention to a November election.
But if you look beyond the propaganda media, there are definite signs of hope for the GOP, even in states regarded as fairly deep blue.
In Washington State, the Republican nominee for Senate, Tiffany Smiley, is proving a highly attractive and adept contender. Take a look at the trend in polling, via Real Clear Politics:

Of course, Trafalgar is known as a polling organization that tends to show good results for GOP candidates, but the difference from earlier polls is dramatic.
And when it comes to the quality of the candidate, contra Mitch McConnell, Tiffany Smiley looks very good, indeed. Check out these three 30-second TV spots:

If there truly is a red wave this November, Tiffany could indeed ride it to victory. Getting rid of that leftist hag Murray would benefit this country greatly.
Nike can’t save her?
All kabuki...ugly patty murray is a shoe in, sorry... all bout suckin in GOP campaign cash
This is the kind of candidate I will support. The ads are good and her message will hit home in a very professional way without the cheap smears typical of the left.
They already had a primary and Murray won by 18. What has changed (taking into consideration WA is a lib state)?
Above is a great podcast telling her story.
Newly married, young (23 years old?) and her military husband is injured in a car bombing and blinded for life. She quit her job the day she heard and flew to D.C. to be there when he got to the hospital.
Lived in a sleeping bag in the hospital basement when they told her she couldn’t stay in his room forever. I think it was something like 6 months she did that for.
On the second day there she was told to sign the papers to release him from the military. She refused - he needed something to live for and it was the military.
He ended up staying in the military for a long time and taught at West Point.
Tough woman, inspiring story.
I’d want to see the internals. The trafalgar at poll in PA was grossly oversampling republicans and under sampling independents.
There are two paths for NOV. GOP does good but not as good as they should… or the dem brand is so damaged by Biden that it’s a complete route up and down the ballot.
If GOP actually pick up a statewide win in WA pretty clear it will likely be a route…
Libertarians put her in office and she has been there ever since.
Smiley was one of several GOP/ right wing contenders in the primary. Those other guys got something like the 10% combined. Of course Murray’s votes were also split to other candidates, but not as much.
The polling data actually makes sense. Murray polls at around 49-50% and as folks get to know the republican she seems to be picking up steam. You also can’t put a whole lot of faith in polls with just 400 voters. Trafalgar polled over a 1000.
well.. that’s just one poll and it could be an outlier, but the biggest story is that anytime an incumbent is polling below 50, they are in danger. Because they are a known quantity.
No way will the cabal let it happen. No matter how big of a Red turnout.
Murray’s ads are not only mean but nauseating. Smiley has a good rebuttal saying 30 years in Congress what has Murray accomplished?
What will change?
Makes sense to me.
Tiffany Smiley is the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate.
You don’t know just how worried they are. Pocketbook issues (see Tiffany’s first ad) hit home. Hot Dogs up 25%, Eggs 40% ect. is a big deal to most people. Most know who is to blame. This race would not surprise me if it ended 51.5 - 48.0 RED. Murray is on the ropes and she sure as hell should be as is any other rat on the November ballot. The a$$ whole that governs Washington State has made a ton of enemies with his covid restrictions.
