I don’t think it’s waiting untill next year - it’s already begun. Italy went into the streets recently.
People perceive the West and EU are “ rich”. As reality will soon demonstrate, if a country can’t afford to keep its citizens warm during the winter, then that country is poor, not rich.
Russia isn’t going to freeze, shut down manufacturing, shutdown schools etc…this winter.
