Trump Took a Sledgehammer to the Establishment. America Needs Him to Do It Again in 2024

Tucker Carlson, who seems to have his finger on the pulse of the America First movement, signs off his nightly Fox News show as “the sworn enemy of lying, pomposity, smugness and group think.”

The “lying” and “pomposity” surely represent the tactics of a Democrat/media complex who will stop at nothing — including using the power of the state to persecute their political enemies. President Joe Biden’s reprehensible speech in Philadelphia all but confirmed it.

Unfortunately, the “group think” stuff is Republican owned and operated, especially as it pertains to former President Donald Trump. How else to explain a growing chorus from the GOP elite — from editorial boards at the Wall Street Journal to the New York Post — to “move beyond Trump?”

Indeed, the elephant in the establishment’s living room is almost a palpable desire to return to the good old days of “compassionate conservatism” by beltway Republicans who have grown tired of protestors on their lawn.

“And don’t think for a moment,” as I write in Party Animal, The Truth About President Trump, Power Politics & the Partisan Press, the opposition to Trump is due to his “so-called abrasive personality. The media deliberately conflated style with substance, using his idiosyncrasies to go after a man whose policies they didn’t like.” And so it is with those saying it’s time to “get past” the 45th President.

They omit just one thing — who else is going to take on government gangsters willing to lock up their fellow citizens? Mitt Romney?

I was reading the article to my wife...ranting about nasty RINO’s.
I told her (former New Yorker) about the soft tyranny of Mitt when he was governor of Massachusetts.
Had to laugh that his name was mentioned at the end of the excerpt. Yep! Prime example!

My friend, I hate to tell you this but DC looks the same or worse today than before Trump arrived. His accomplishments, gone like farts in the wind.

Only, next time, he needs a few able bodies in DC to HELP him.

His Achilles heel, to me, is his lack of discernment when hiring trusted staff.

It’s almost as though, he hires these schlubbs JUST to see if he can succeed in SPITE of their back-stabbing tricks.

We really need to tell these RINOs if they want to move on, they really should do that and get out of our way. We plan on cleaning things up and don’t need weak kneed milk toasts holding us back.

I wouldn’t say he took a sledgehammer to it. More like tickled it with a feather.

The Deep State is more bold and destructive now than it’s ever been.

Trump has to do better if he gets in again…

No truer words were ever spoken. Everything he did has been erased, now they are in the process of erasing him. But more frightening, they are criminalizing his supporters, which was the purpose of his threatening speech Thursday night.

I disagree. Thee Executive Establishment is pretty much the same. But the House is and will be completely different. Most of the Boehner Boys are gone, and most of Ryan’s committee chairmen. 134 of the 241 sworn in on 1/3/17 are gone (defeated, resigned, retired or moved on to other offices).

Replacement of worthless Senators is moving at a slower pace but is moving.

It’s going to take time but A LOT of the pusillanimous snakes have been exposed and some removed.

Trump should champion the repeal of the 17th Amendment.

Two lines:
Repeal the 17th Amendment

Eliminate the Senior Executive Service

One Convention of States, if passed, The foundation the deep state & uniparty is built on is forever gone.. The Republic is restored.

Our Founding Father’s were not stupid!

Don't forget the 16th Amendment.

It provides the blood that feeds the Deep State Cancer.

Unfortunately, we’ve already ran out time. 1/7/21, the day the pubbie masks came off and their perfidy codified. The coup essentially destroyed the Constitution. There will be no more almost fair elections in this country. Even if you could replace the 90+% Uniparty thugs of the DC GOP, the damage already done is too severe.

“The Establishment” is stronger than ever.

But at least Trump showed us they exist, and they are destructive.

Trump was an idiot with a playskool plastic hammer that didn't change anything that f..k Joe Asswipe hasn't reversed.

Trump had zero political smarts thinking he could co-opt establishment Republicans who handed him his ass. Aside from a handful his personnel picks were his ruin. And after being shafted he bent over for more.

It is what you get with a political neophyte who had to rely on untrained family for advice.

So maybe he has learned by beginning to build an elected political base. Something most politicians do for decades.

Personally I hope DeSantis runs to build a national base. If Trump was smart he would support that. Trump would easily beat him but could use him as the VP to actually run the government and make changes. Trump could stay as cheerleader which he does best.

But NONE OF THIS MATTERS because they will not let Trump have a second term.
