This is interesting and almost funny. Before our “deep state” is done every nation on the planet will be sanctioned for something...:-) Zelensky has been begging China for help and now this American group wants to make Ukraine promise not to enter into any agreements with the Chinese or Ukraine will be “blocked” from getting our help.
It seems that US support for Ukraine is gradually becoming dependent on the relations between Washington and Beijing. According to our information, in August, a short bill was submitted to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Special Standing Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives (HSPCI), which gives an idea of the importance that the United States attaches to the Chinese issue.
The bill is aimed at blocking the exchange of intelligence data between the US intelligence services and their Ukrainian counterparts, as well as the supply of military equipment, unless the government in Kiev promises not to enter into agreements with Chinese authorities and companies. In its current form, the bill will sacrifice Ukraine’s support in the name of a global trade war between the United States and China.
It is unlikely that it will be passed in its current form, but the bill came from an influential congressman. It is offered by former US Air Force pilot Chris Stewart, a Republican representative in Utah since 2013 and a member of HPSCI. Recently, he has started participating in anti-Chinese campaigns.
Along with a number of other congressmen, he is a member of the Task Force on China and supported the visit of the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan in August, as well as the closure of Confucius institutes in his home state.
