Las Vegas Review-Journal investigative reporter Jeff German, one of Nevada’s most accomplished and trusted journalists, was found dead with stab wounds outside his home Saturday morning. German, whose work in Las Vegas spanned four decades, made a career of breaking big stories about everything from organized crime and government malfeasance to political scandals and the Oct. 1 mass shooting.

Did he do any reporting in or about Washington District of Corruption? Especially between 1993 & 2001? Or between 2009 & 2017? Did he maybe write something positive about President Trump or a MAGA politician?

The outfit was pretty well done for by 1990s in Vegas.
But, I guess in the Family Secrets trial they identified about 30 plus murders if I remember-about 20 major member murders. Two being Tony the Ant and his brother Mikey.

I’d say you answered your own question. He sounds like a good journalist that stepped on the wrong toes.

Good question. I bet a lot of reporters worked on that case. They might have been told to stand down.
Why “journalists” don’t practice journalism. It can be dangerous if you’re doing it right.
