When a pseudo ally publicly turns on you they are doing you a favor but identifying their true nature and intentions. The biggest cad was Bill Barr. This swamp creature hired the fixer Wray as FBI chief and ordered him not to investigate or validate the Hunter laptop. Barr was the most egregious traitor. Barr did his damage and then came out revealing his true nature.
Barr got pummeled hard by the Beltway establishment and then Trump wpould not accept his endless process oriented slow rolling. That is a big deal in DC where the goal is do nothing very slowly and make a lot of money in the process. This is the big reason Limbaugh would never touch being in politics. As a powerful influencer he didn’t have to listen to anyone. He regularly had the RINO so called conservatives try to pressure him on ‘all those damned guns’ and abortion. Even Jesse Helms got worn down on some issues over time. Unless you really don’t care what ‘important’ people think of you it is tough. Harder if you are compromised.

I’m surprised that two-faced disreputable people like Barr don’t eventually commit suicide. Many probably do.
