The wealthiest, healthiest, best educated, and most free black people on the planet are black Americans. In Africa, there are schools that teach an American accent and how to navigate American life so that Africans can get to the US illegally or on a tourist visa and overstay, and then find a job and work the system in order to gain a green card.
Yet the US also has wretched black slums and a public culture of Leftist race ideology that both ignores and excuses black failure. Worse, the Left is hostile to faith and the formation and encouragement of the character and habits that make for success in life. For whites, intact families, faith, accumulated human capital, and traditional virtues do much to ease the impact.
The Left slyly refers to this as "white supremacy," thereby making the ills caused by the Left against blacks into a racial slur against whites.
