Student loan forgiveness applications are expected to be out by mid-October but many people are frustrated because they’ve paid theirs off. During the pandemic, student loan payments were put on pause but that didn’t stop people from paying theirs to pay down debt and future interest. If you paid off your student loans during this time, you could be getting that money refunded.

I paid off my loan 20 years ago.
Can I get a $10k refund?
Just adjust your taxes. All the new agents are there to help get it processed.
I paid cash ...
Where do I apply?
Fix the student loans situation like this:
1. Prohibit all branches of government, in all jurisdictions, from involvement in lending to students.
2. Make it possible for students to have loan debts erased through bankruptcy.
3. Require student loans to be originated by the university the student will attend. No cash has to change hands, because it is just delayed payment for services. It costs the university ZERO if the loan is repaid. Make them have some skin in the game.
4. Transfer existing debts to the universities, and assess them for the cost. The assessment might be spread out over the original term of the loan, but no longer.
I paid mine off 8 1/2 years ago. Where is my refund?
I got cheated out of my free stuff. Send me my check, Jokester.
I used an inheritance from my grandmother about 30 years ago. Where do I go to get my free Libtard giveaway?
Not a multi, multi thou loan, but I paid it off within a year of graduating.
(I lived like a pauper in college and grad school, and I learned the value of work, money, and character.)

“Yup. Paid mine off when I was an E-4 in 1974. Used part of a re-enlistment bonus. “
Fellow sailed went 6 after 2 and took the lump sum straight to the Ford dealer and drove off in a Boss 302.
Totalled it on the way home ... no insurance!
I get a kick out of the misleading news bits about state taxes being unjustly foisted on students accepting this loan forgiveness.
The reporters intentionally misrepresent that loan or debt forgiveness always is treated as income under tax laws. They are pretending that states or politicians are going after poor students. The truth is that these loans are often not used for school costs but were instead used for living or living large.
I paid tax on a debt forgiven 40 years back. Why do reporters want to mislead???
Reporters are lying Marxists.
Awww man! That had to hurt.

I’m going to pretend I didn’t read that and think the same of you as Marshawn Lynch on Utube getting dui arrested after destroying a new gt500 with temp tags recently
“I’m going to pretend I didn’t read that and think the same of you ....”
Huh?
“after destroying a new gt500 with temp tags recently”
new >> old
gt500 >> Lamborghini
destroyed >> damahed
That's the first thing we need to do. With the government lending money to students and not expecting them to pay it back, colleges are hiking their rates knowing that their students will be able to pay for it.
We need reparations.
